My WHOOP Obsession: 2 Months In

My WHOOP Obsession: 2 Months In

Got a WHOOP for my August birthday—thanks to my amazing husband, best gift ever. I’ve worn it 24/7 for two months and three weeks, and I’m hooked.

Why WHOOP Stands Out

No screen, no steps—just real insights from heart rate, HRV, sleep, strain, and recovery. It charges on your wrist via a battery pack that clicks and gets the job done in 20 minutes (and the battery lasts 2 weeks!!) , tracks everything (even ECG and blood pressure on new models), and gives daily coaching via WHOOP Coach.  You barely notice it in your wrist because it’s light weight and  there is no screen, no time, no beeps from incoming calls or notifications like my Apple Watch used to do.  You can view and track all the data in your app.

The Funny (and Motivating) Truth

My WHOOP Age is 48 😅—way older than me! But it shows why (poor sleep, high stress) and how to fix it. Now I’m hitting:

85%+ sleep scores (tracks my sleep debt, and quality of my sleep)

Green recovery daily (it recommends what kind of workouts my body is ready for based on this)

Energy all day, no crashes (it lets me know before I get sick that something is off!!)

Next Level: WHOOP AI Labs

I submitted full bloodwork. A real doctor compared it to my WHOOP data that had been collected for two months and made complete analysis and built a 6-month plan to get things back on track. Daily AI check-ins keep me on track. In 6 months….new blood test and more data. Goal: drop my WHOOP Age at least10 years.

Privacy?

Yes, it collects a lot—heartbeats, sleep, stress. But encryption is strong, no data selling, and the insights? Worth it.

My Verdict: WHOOP isn’t just a tracker—it’s a coach in your corner. Sleeping better, training smarter, aging backward. 💪
